- My worst purchase ever. It was not clear in the listing that this unit is meant for mainland China only. It took me days to get it into any kind of usable state. You can't change the language away from chinese without installing a 3rd party app. There is no app store, you have to sideload one. But first, you have to sideload a new homescreen that you cannot make the default. You can't change the timezone to anything outside of china. Even with workarounds, only some of the language changes. Also, the wifi is terrible. I regret buying this unit. I only schose it over the mibox 4s because the specs are better. I wrongfully assumed I would be able to load an international rom.

- why in god's name would they send the Chinese version out normally instead of an international model, how am I meant to set this up if it's in Chinese like, anything I see now online is them saying oh you can change the language by downloading stuff on it but I'm stuck with weird Chinese apps all around the place and about 900 episodes of Naruto everywhere, do not buy unless your Chinese
- the box is amazing. really quick, fast. would reccomend this box over any other box I have tried and tested. it was in Chinese but a little fix sorted the main bits of that. easy to Side load onto. surprising how well it works compared to boxes I have of almost double the value of this beast. out performs more expensive boxes.
- this BOX can’t use at japan. you can’t watch moves, dramas and sports, even you are a VIP shipment. you just can see some child program, shopping programs. Because the BOX functions are restricted by area (except for china). i am living in japan. i bought this BOX two weeks ago.
- Hello mi opinión about this android TV box (eu version). Works well but the wifi crashed in one night. Since that could not use it anymore!! Now gotta buy an USB to ethernet Extender!! Maybe with that will work fine. Or I got to dump it. Thanks gearbest
- '' and I have a newer high powered router so the signal is strong, i'm going to see if customer service will send me another on as I'm not sure how long it will last before the power cord isn't usable, other than that when it's working good I'm enjoying the box
- Mi Box 4 is small, runs pretty smooth, a lot apps can be installed. But can't be rooted and most of the contents are locked down due to regional restrictions, so pretty tough to use out side of China.
- Great product for a great price. The only thing to take care is because the language, it’s everything in Chinese. But once you are familiar to the layout, it’s not a problem, at all
- After a lot of research and reading product reviews I think I may have watched every single video on You Tube about every type and brand of these things I settled on this one, the price is great considering what all is included
- It's a great device, i have an european version and now this. This device is only intended for the chinesse market, it does not make sense to buy it outside, you cannot change the firmware to an international version (it does not exist). You can make some hacks to make it usable outside China but you'll get a limited device. Anyway great device.
