- Suunto is one of few compasses that I trust, If you don't care about all the bells and whistles and the need for a Global needle needle that is designed for both Northern and Southern hemispheres

- I purchased four and found that they are not accurate unless almost nearly perfect level and even then they needed a little tap to move towards north, Otherwise the quality was decent

- The magnifying glass helps us old guys see the smaller map markings, I recommend this compass to any hikers who want a solid product without paying higher prices
